Simply put, it’s been a crazy day in the entertainment world. Beyoncé first appeared in the early hours of the morning to promote the release of her forthcoming album next month. The world of film and television flooded audiences with news about the Dirty Dancing reboot, the Marilyn Monroe Netflix series, the Huey P. Newton series on Apple, and much more just hours later. Then something happened. Drake announced that his seventh studio album, Honestly, Nevermind, would be released at midnight, as the world of sports prepared for Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals.
Drake has made it a tradition in recent years to broadcast a special radio show on the eve of a major release. For those who may have forgotten, prior to the release of More Life and What A Time To Be Alive, he conducted an internet radio show. Drake, it turns out, will follow suit with his upcoming album. Fans can catch the Toronto native tonight at 11 p.m. ET on SiriusXM’s Sound 42, where he presents an edition of “Table For One.” Visit the official website of the performance for additional information.
